Use Past Wins as Stepping Stones to a New Year

What started out a few years ago as a commitment to study and share about faith has grown into something bigger than ever planned. It started with a few guys I know, many who were the groomsmen at my wedding and others I had met at work or with my volunteer work with the multi-media tech group at my church. I shared weekly some thoughts about the sermon message and then I started a blog to keep me accountable to daily Bible study and to sharing with others.

The blog at this link has grown to more followers than I ever thought. As the new year begins, I would like to make a commitment to continue this journey and invite even more friends to check it out. For an inspirational start to each day, join the journey by liking on Facebook or following on Twitter at the links below:

About Mark Shields

Mark works in the Information Systems Department for an Insurance Company. He volunteers as a member of the media ministry team at his church and runs the 10:50 worship service computer. A few years ago, he started an on-line Bible study guide called “This Day with God Devotional”. He uses this as a tool in his journey through the Bible. We live in a very busy world with busy schedules so this tool has helped him continue with daily Bible reading and study. You’re invited to join him on this journey or check in every so often to read his thoughts.
