My Best Shot

Each day, we have been given a gift to use our time to glorify God. Whatever we do at work in our career, in our leisure on the golf course, or at home with our family; we should apply our faith and give it our best shot. The poem below is an affirmation to do just that.

Getting a jump on my day;
And ready to write my story.
To be at my best today;
And ready to bring Him glory.

Getting set and ready;
And practice shots are done.
Focused and steady;
Making shots one by one.

Sink this putt to get a birdie;
Riches and fame are on the line.
Nervous but sturdy;
And time for me to shine.

Getting a jump on my day;
And ready to write my story.
To be at my best today;
And ready to bring Him glory.
