Be Lifted to New Heights of Accomplishment

Be lifted to new heights of accomplishment
By simplifying and letting God do the amazing part.
Write the script of life with a pencil.
God has the eraser and given you the heart.

Explore new opportunities.
When the God of the universe intervenes,
There is optimism and confidence.
Be decisive and do it by all means.

Like the team that has the wind at its back
Or the ball that bounces their way,
The ONE who created us can help us
When it seems like there is no way.

Some want excellence to happen,
Some wish it would happen,
Others pray and God intervenes
To make it happen.

Like an eagle in the sky,
A mighty lion among beast,
Or a servant who becomes King;
What seems minute will be increased.

He has made you for a purpose,
So step ahead; feel free to explore,
And discover ways to dispense
The power that opens the door.

About Mark Shields

Mark works in the Information Systems Department for an Insurance Company. He volunteers as a member of the media ministry team at his church and runs the 10:50 worship service computer. A few years ago, he started an on-line Bible study guide called “This Day with God Devotional”. He uses this as a tool in his journey through the Bible. We live in a very busy world with busy schedules so this tool has helped him continue with daily Bible reading and study. You’re invited to join him on this journey or check in every so often to read his thoughts.
