Decisions for Christ

There is a thirst
like riding through the desert
but with the graces of God’s Spirit
we are never hurt.

Hearts are nourished
by the gospel directing
us to where we may find Him
as we keep reflecting.

Satan’s temptations are defeated
by worshiping God only,
having the passion of Christ,
and serving Him boldly.

Desire to give God your best
and express hope and enthusiasm.
This will result in more decisions for Christ;
more crossing over the chasm.

Let us be different and stand out.
Make some noise,
live out loud,
and sing of the Lord’s great joys.

About Mark Shields

Mark works in the Information Systems Department for an Insurance Company. He volunteers as a member of the media ministry team at his church and runs the 10:50 worship service computer. A few years ago, he started an on-line Bible study guide called “This Day with God Devotional”. He uses this as a tool in his journey through the Bible. We live in a very busy world with busy schedules so this tool has helped him continue with daily Bible reading and study.
