No Need to Fear

It has been made very clear
There is no need to fear
For God is our shield;
His power has been revealed.

The power is in His Word;
The future no longer blurred;
He is our great reward
And our place with Him restored.

He is faithful
And so very able
So be encouraged
And continue to flourish.

Feel protected
And always connected.
He is always by our side
And our wants are supplied.

He gave us a promise;
Let us hold on to this promise
For the Spirit resides inside
To be our guide.

He has made a way
As we continue to pray.
He will take care in every case
With His never ending grace.

About Mark Shields

Mark volunteers as a member of the media ministry team at his church. A few years ago, he started an on-line Bible study guide called “This Day with God Devotional”. He uses this as a tool in his journey through the Bible. We live in a very busy world with busy schedules so this tool has helped him continue with daily Bible reading and study. Each of the studies are designed to help apply our faith in the work place, at school, or at home. Join him on this journey or check in every so often to read his thoughts.

    Reblogged this on This Day With God and commented:

    In the study of Genesis 15, God gave courage to Abram through His word. The word came to Abram in a vision and said, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.” Today, God’s word continues to direct us as we step ahead and my hope is that this poem has in some way taken the thoughts from this study so we are inspired to action.
