Many challenges we face;
Seems like mission impossible
But then as we take a step of faith
It all of a sudden is made possible.
We meet the challenge
As God’s Word makes a way
And it is extremely rewarding
Knowing everything will be okay.
Things in life are not always
Going to go our way.
Taking on many tasks
With a challenge every day.
But we seek God first thing
To help us take on each task
By going to Him in prayer
And in Jesus name we ask.
We can be refreshed
With a new perspective
And He will bless
With a new directive.
God is with us always
Wherever we go
As the Holy Spirit helps
Take on every foe.
Speaking to us
Through the Word
To guide our steps
As power is transferred.
Helping us to be
A great overcomer
Even when things
Are such a bummer.
When those around us
Forget what has been done
We continue to remember
The gift of His Son.

Reading in Genesis 40, Joseph was in prison but he made use of his circumstance to help others. He was not downtrodden but maintained hope and a desire to find a way out of his situation. I’ve written a poem that was inspired by this passage to share with you today. Have a great weekend my friends!
