“V” For Victory

With the new covenant,
All sins are gone
And all belong
As we carry on.

Working together
To form a “V”
We help each other
To be all we can be.

Each member receives
Combined strength of the whole
With excellence
Being the goal.

Forming a team
Amazingly strong
Being led on
We worship in song.

Reaching the destination
Without a doubt
Like geese flying south
Helping each other out.

Photo – Taken at the end of October a few years ago in my back yard. It was right before the first strong cold front. Geese form a V-shaped formation to help conserve their energy as they fly because the birds in front reduce wind resistance. After flying in front for a while, the next in line will take the front and the one in front will go to the back to rest.
