Sometimes bad habits compete with God because they require the least effort. It’s easy to have the bad habits but the good ones, like knowing God requires something from us – the desire to listen and a decision to follow. Use the poem below as your own to encourage listening and following His Way.
Seeking a higher standard, I listen and follow The Word of God Rather than what’s hollow. I don’t go after Worldly assets But spiritual treasure With no regrets. I do not default To mediocrity But get the Truth Without hypocrisy. I focus on the ONE That gives me energy With the people of God In a synergy.
