Victorious Finish

Distress, betrayal,
And all one can bear
With wars and famines
Warning me to prepare.

I need endurance
To make it through
And more focus
On what I need to do. 

Because of the promise
I’m consistent,
Optimistic,
And persistent.

So I pay attention
To direction from the Lord
And look forward
To the reward.

For He gives strength
And I won’t diminish
Bringing me to the
Victorious finish.
